If you are anywhere within my regular circle of contact within the last few weeks, you know that I had my final state observation test. Assuming I passed (don’t ask, I don’t know and it’s annoying to me…) I now only have one more Saturday module and I’m done with the Non-Traditional License Program. This is joyous news.
Two more weeks till Spring Break. That is also joyous news.
I finished reading Stephenie Meyer’s The Host which I started reading on the cruise. The premise is much more interesting to me (read it on Amazon for yourself), but was sorely disappointed to realize that the idea that aliens invaded earth and are implanted into human bodies lent itself to whole new levels of boy-subverted girl who is still aware but unable to speak-alien girl inhabiting subverted girl’s body and feels all her emotions as well as her own-boy #2 who first hates then falls in love with alien girl drama. barf!
Saw The Watchmen on opening night. It was very dense and kind of long and I don’t think I’ve ever read all of The Watchmen graphic novel. However, the more distance I get to the movie, the more I think it’s pretty impressive.
U2 on Letterman every night last week was awesome. i’m still getting to know No Line on the Horizon.
Have been having a hard time getting into No Line because I’ve been so outrageously infatuated with the band, The Weepies. It’s very much in Shawn Colvin vein and I love it.
There’s a blog.
